The prompt was a poster for diversity with the tagline "differences that brighten the world." Drawing inspiration from a book from my childhood, Shapesville by Andy Mills & Becky Osborn, where, "it doesn't matter what size, shape, or color you are..."

During this project, our professor gave us the coolest homework assignment, we had to play around with texture through relief printing. 
Here, I rolled red acrylic paint and blue ink onto textured paper. Then, I pressed bubble wrap on the wet surface.
This texture would become my background.
